  1. Open the Gemini conversation you want to keep.
  2. Wait until the full response and citations are visible.
  3. Open AI Chat Backup.
  4. Select Export Chat or Sync to Notion.
  5. Review links and media that require an active Google session.

Citations, links, and generated media

AI Chat Backup preserves Gemini text, headings, lists, links, code, and tables when they are exposed by the page. Citations, expandable sections, and authenticated media can depend on the active Google session, so save critical media separately.

Use Gemini exports in Notion

The Notion record includes the conversation title, source URL, platform, and formatted content. Add it to the relevant project view and summarize the outcome so teammates can understand why the transcript matters.

Troubleshoot missing content

Expand collapsed content, wait for generation to complete, refresh the page, and retry. If Gemini changed its interface, update AI Chat Backup and check the public issue tracker.
